We sought a place where it would be peaceful - a tall order, yes, but we stayed at The Barn! The magnificent views and surroundings from the windows formed the back bone of the visit.

"Our first and hopefully not final visit here! There are many ways to describe this Barn - congenial, wonderful, cosy, lovely, cool! We enjoyed our visit here A LOT! Also, we have called the male pheasant Gary, so if you can call him that......otherwise he might get confused!

We have 'self catered' for many years and have stayed in some gems but The Barn at Ryecroft has turned out to be the Jewel in the Crown! All the superlatives in the visitors logs going back over the years, we endorse wholeheartedly. Our only regret is that we did not find this wonderful spot years ago when we were much younger and, more to the point, fitter. Our sincere thanks for all you have given us to ensure our comfort and happiness for our week. If you will have us, we would love to come again..
